„Making this album, we wanted the joy of playing music, communication through playing, and living in the moment to be heard – these are all things that give duo playing its power. What we also find joyfully powerful is the chiming of ten strings that runs from ‘Waltz of the Drowned/Lost’ all the way to ‘From the Deceased’. Our arrangements of the traditional Finnish folk tunes and the three amazing new pieces composed for us are where melodies come out to play – a ‘Hidden Frolic’.”
